Mason Lane is a 2,000-acre site that supports agricultural, recreational, wildlife habitat and conservation purposes. The facility has two main functions: hay and grain storage and farm equipment maintenance and storage.
Mason Lane explored the need to reinterpret regional agricultural building types, apply for LEED certification standards within the agricultural sector, and realize the possibility of understanding the sustainable design approach based on local climate and landscape (instead of professional/green mechanized systems) And products) and rethink the economy within traditional building systems and prefabricated components. The needs of various programs have been combined in two large barns and a relocated granary, as well as a courtyard that is structured to work outside the framework. The rest of the project site is assigned to the cycle and access requirements for large farm equipment.
